Reviews

“Your latest masterpiece is missing something. Maybe it's a shot of Mt. Rushmore — hey, it worked for Hitchcock. Perhaps you need tornado footage for your disaster pic, or a flying saucer shot that looks better than something Ed Wood Jr. might do. You don't need a bigger production budget — you need MEDIA-PEDIA! Instead of having to conjure special effects or write your more ambitious ideas out of your script, you simply buy a tape from these guys and you're up and running. ....There's a bit of everything here....... The picture quality is first-rate, and the company plans to release a continuing series of collections, so you'll never want for new material.”

Ron Goldberg, VIDEO

“High-quality recordings; well indexed; some formats are SMPTE time-coded... In addition to listing sequences in the order they occur in tape, the manual contains alphabetical and chronological indexes, perfect for locating a quick flick... The sequences range from... dramatic (tornadoes ripping apart homes) to genuinely funny (aggressive hordes of piglets making mom seasick in their efforts to nurse). .... if you're serious about acquiring stock footage, MEDIA-PEDIA is a good value.”

Deke McClelland, MACWORLD

“..... subject matter out of the past that you can't shoot for yourself. ..... video source material is of excellent quality, as is its audio.”

Tom Benford, ComputerCraft

“MEDIA-PEDIA is a collection... for which any video producer will find a plethora of uses. Many scenes are very general; many others are quite specific as to time, place and event. The two things they all have in common are that they would lend themselves to versatile uses in the videos we produce, and they are of outstanding video quality. ...... The attention to detail-- something important to every video producer-- is very apparent in the MEDIA-PEDIA product. ..... making this product an exceptional value.”

Bonnie-Jane Mason, Camcorder

“MEDIA-PEDIA was critical to us as we created our new FORCES AND MOTION multi-media science CD-ROM program! The range of video clips allowed us great flexibility in selecting examples of how forces work. It was wonderful to have such a resource as this at our disposal.”

Carolyn F. Moyer, Science for Kids, Lewisville, NC
